Only One Baptism

Introduction

There is one God. There is only one God. This doctrine is central to the Bible message, for both the Old Testament and the New Testament teach it plainly and emphatically. Despite the simplicity of this message and the clarity with which the Bible presents it, many who believe in the existence of God have not understood it. Even within Christendom many people, including theologians, have not comprehended this beautiful and essential message. Our purpose of this article is to address the dual nature of Jesus, and to affirm and explain the biblical doctrine of the Godhead.

The book of Revelation tells the tale of two WOMEN. One is clothed with the sun, in other word; this woman is dressed in pure white, revealing the purity of true faith and doctrine. This pure woman of Revelation 12 is committed to Christ. Revelation 17:4 depict another woman who was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.

What does the Bible say about the Work of the Law and the Law of Faith? In different Christian beliefs, some teaches that we are saved solely by GRACE, justification is by Faith alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). Others claimed that Law and Commandments are still binding up to this age (Matthew 19″16-17). However, some early Christians unanimously believed that works or obedience to the word of God play an important role in our salvation.

Holy Spirit Baptism

Introduction

Holy Spirit and Holy Ghost are identical in meaning. Holy Ghost was the common name for the Holy Spirit in English prior to the 20th century. The Holy Spirit is frequently referred to a different symbols in Biblical understanding such as Cloud and Light, the Holy Spirit comes upon the Virgin Mary and “overshadows” her, so that she might conceive and give birth to Jesus (Luke 1:35). On the mountain of transfiguration, the Spirit in the “cloud came and overshadowed” Jesus, Moses and Elijah, Peter, James and John, and “a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son: hear him” (Luke 9:34-35). The Holy Spirit sometimes refers to a Dove, when Christ comes up from the water of his baptism, the Holy Spirit, in the form of a dove, comes down upon him and remains with him (Matthew 3:16). Born of Water

Born of water is a Biblical great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ which interchangeably refers to water baptism. Water baptism is one of the most controversial subjects in the Christian religion. A biblical understanding of this topic is extremely important to everyone that would-be disciple of Jesus Christ. Jesus stated that every person who would follow him should be baptized (Matthew 28:18-20). Yet many times people need to struggle with the Scriptures in order to accept this teaching. Water baptism plays a very significant role of salvation process. In fact, we cannot see any record from the Bible that someone who became a Christian believer did not undergo the process of water baptism. God’s word shows how all the scriptures work together, with baptism coming as the conclusion of a person’s conversion to Christianity.
