A church wanted to increase its Sunday morning attendance.  They decided to try a new marketing idea.  The sign on the front lawn read, “Have trouble sleeping?  We have sermons – come hear one.”

What is the Truth?

Posted By on April 23, 2010

Introduction

Most of the people want to know “What is the Truth?” This is a Biblical question that even Pontius Pilate asked Jesus the same question “What is Truth”(John 18:38). Since people want to know the truth many human theories and human concepts arrived. This was happened just to tell the people and impart what they have learned and acquired knowledge about the Truth. Every religious belief claimed to be in the Truth. Whether Muslims, Hindu and many others including Christians are claiming to be in the Truth. Denominationally speaking, Christian belief has many denominations. Each denomination also was claiming to be in the right and in Truth. It is indeed important for us to know the Truth. For only the Truth will set as free (John 8:32).

The Two Babylons – Part I

II Thessalonians 2:1-3, “Regarding the ‘parousia’ Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him, don’t be disturbed by pretended revelations or rumours, or letters as if from us implying that the day of Christ has arrived. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except the apostasy comes first, and that man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition.”

The Passion

July 13, 2003 – It was a matter of pride for Gibson that the film should be as realistic as possible, not just in its language and settings, but also by accurately portraying the intense violence inflicted on Jesus. The film shows Jesus’ flesh flailed during whippings, blood spurting as nails are hammered into His hands, and ribs protruding from His chest. “By the time audiences get to the crucifixion scene, I believe there will be many who can’t take it and will have to walk out,” said Caviezel, a devout Christian himself. “And I believe there will be many who will stay and be drawn to the truth.”

The Original Sin

There were many trees in the garden of Eden, including the tree of Life and the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. The Fall was not caused by eating natural fruit, which was permitted, and nothing is recorded in Genesis 3 about eating an apple; we read only about partaking of fruit of the tree of Knowledge. Therefore, it is important for us to know who and what the tree of Knowledge was.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ

John 12:20-26, “There were certain Greek proselytes to Torah Yahweh among the Israelites that came up to Jerusalem to worship at the feast of the Passover: and they approached Philip who was of Bethsaida in Galilee (which was perhaps where they lived), and desired him, saying, Sir, we wish to see Jesus (Who may at that time have been in a part of the temple to which Gentile proselytes had no access)”.

Philip came and told Andrew his fellow townsman, and together they told Jesus. But Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified”.

The Restitution of All Things

John 7:37-39, “Jesus stood and cried, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But He spoke of the Spirit, which they who believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified)”.

The Seventh Angel and the Mystery of God

In Matthew 24:36 we discover there were many things Jesus did not know when He was on earth. They were known “only by the Father.” John 8:28, “After My crucifixion, you will realize that I am He for Whom you seek, and that I do nothing of My own accord: but speak exactly as My Father has taught Me” (John 15:15; 16:26).

Quotations on the New World Order, 1918 to 1995

The program for a new world order may be traced to God’s foreknowledge of Lucifer’s iniquity before there was a Lucifer or any created thing. In the day’s of our Lord’s earthly walk, “Lucifer took Jesus up into an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory, and said, I will give You this new world order, if You will fall down and worship me. Then said Jesus, Be gone Satan: for it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord Your God, and Him only shall you serve'” — Matthew 4:8-10.
